💃 Halloween Parties & Club Nights
Finsbury Park Cabaret: Halloween Spectacular | 📍The Old Dairy, N4 | 31 October | (£)
Finsbury Park is getting its own cabaret night, and the first one lands on Halloween. The launch show brings together different acts rather than one continuous performance, with singing, comedy, dance and a little old school cabaret glamour. Kiki Noir is among the performers, mixing cabaret with Portuguese and Brazilian music and dance. Doors 7pm, show 8pm. There’s also an optional Thai dinner you can order in advance.

Horroway Road Halloween Costume Party | 📍One Eighty One, N7 | 31 October | (£)
Go dressed as your favourite musician, dead or alive. One Eighty One is turning Holloway Road into “Horroway Road” for Halloween, with Spin Doctor and guests playing all vinyl sets until 2am. Tickets are £5 and include a glass of Halloween Prosecco. 9pm to 2am.
Halloween Party at the London Art Bar | 📍Holborn, WC1 | 31 October | (£)
The London Art Bar is keeping Halloween simple: costumes, cocktails and dancing. Come dressed as weird, scary or elaborate as you like, with a DJ playing through the night and the bar mixing cocktails until 11pm. Starts at 7pm.
Club de Fromage Halloween Special | 📍Dingwalls, NW1 | 31 October | (£)
Club de Fromage is going full Halloween at Dingwalls. Come in your most gruesome costume for four hours of big pop songs, Halloween tunes, ridiculous dance offs and mass singalongs, with the stage covered in horror props and Club de Fromage’s costumed characters causing trouble in between. There’ll be confetti cannons and Halloween cocktails too. 11pm to 3am. 18+ only.
elrow Horroween | 📍Drumsheds, N18 | 31 Oct | (£)
elrow’s theatrical Halloween rave is back in London for the first time since 2024. It takes over Drumsheds in Edmonton with three stages and around 14,000 people in fancy dress. Patrick Topping, MK and Sarah Story are on the line up. 1pm to 10.30pm, last entry 5pm, 18+.
🧛♀️ Films, Talks & Tastings
Beyond The Veil | 📍Highgate Cemetery, N6 | 27 October | (£)
One-man show performed in Highgate Cemetery on a dark October night, the week before Halloween. Actor Jonathan Goodwin performs an adaptation of George Eliot’s gothic Victorian tale about a man who believes he can see into other people’s minds and foresee the future. A story about fate, death and what lies beyond, in the most fitting venue in London. £15 includes a glass of wine. Doors 7pm, show 7.30pm.
Nancy’s Murder and Other Horrifying Tales | 📍Charles Dickens Museum, WC1N | 28 & 29 October | (£)
Dickens wrote the murder scene in Oliver Twist and then refused to perform it for years because he was afraid of what it would do to an audience. When he finally did, people fainted. West End actor Dominic Gerrard performs it, alongside two more Victorian ghost stories, in the house on Doughty Street where Dickens actually lived. His first performance here in six years. £25.75, Wednesday 8pm, Thursday 6pm.
Legend of Sleepy Hollow | 📍Tower Theatre, Stoke Newington, N16 | 21–31 October | (£)
A headless horseman is coming to Stoke Newington just in time for Halloween. Tower Theatre is staging The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, the 200-year-old ghost story about nervous schoolmaster Ichabod Crane, who arrives in a strange rural town hoping to teach, fall in love and live quietly. Unfortunately, the locals keep telling stories about a Headless Horseman who rides at night looking for his next victim. This version mixes the creepy stuff with plenty of humour.
Film Screening: House of Wax | 📍The London Archives, EC1R | 29 October | (£)
Vincent Price, 1953, in an archive on Halloween. Before the film starts you hear what London's censors made of it at the time: they thought the 3D made it funny rather than scary. Popcorn and a drink included. Over 18s, doors 5.45pm, starts 6.15pm.
The Haunting | 📍The Libra Theatre Cafe, NW1 | 25, 27 & 28 October | (£)
Imagine your period arrived every month with a list of things you had to do, and refusing meant the bleeding wouldn’t stop. That’s the premise of Mimi Thompson’s one woman comedy The Haunting. The instructions start off silly, then get increasingly difficult, until Mimi is ordered to kiss her best friend’s boyfriend on the night of her birthday. Each performance lasts an hour, with something different afterwards: making tampon bunting on the 25th, a speed dating and friendship social on the 27th, and a closing night party on the 28th.
Halloween Orange Wine Tasting | 📍Amelie’s Wine House, Bloomsbury, WC1 | 30-31 October | (£)
Ever wondered why orange wine is orange? Amelie’s Wine House is using Halloween as an excuse to explain it. Their sommelier will show you how it’s made before pouring three very different examples from France and Georgia to taste together. £29 per person. 21+ only..
👻 Ghost Walks & After-Dark Adventures
After Dark at the Castle | 📍Bruce Castle, N17 | 28 - 30 October | (£)
Bruce Castle has been described as haunted since at least 1856, when a school pupil wrote about the figure that stalks the turret when everyone’s asleep. Three nights before Halloween, costumed guides take you through the candlelit rooms and share the sinister secrets hidden inside. Your £17.50 includes a glass of wine or hot chocolate. Two tours each night: 6.30pm and 8.30pm. Over 18s, book by emailing [email protected]. Note: cancellations within 48 hours incur a £5 fee.
Haunted Hampstead Walking Tour | 📍Hampstead, NW3 | Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays in October | (£)

Capel Manor After Dark | 📍Capel Manor Gardens, EN1 | 30 October | (£)
