July 2026

1-5 JULY

House Clearance Sale | 📍1 Shaftesbury Road, N19 | 4 July | (£)
Something a little different this week, and a first for us. A family is opening up their grandmother's house after she passed away, and inviting neighbours in to take home a piece of it: plant pots, books, furniture, clothes, vintage toys, collectibles, a lifetime of bits and pieces. Prices are low and they'd love to see her things go to people who'll enjoy them. Come and have a wander between 11am and 2pm.

Warm Studios First Birthday | 📍Blue House Yard, N22 | 4 July | Free
Warm Studios in Wood Green turns one, and they're throwing an evening to thank the community that got them through the first year. Music, food, sweet treats, creative activities and games, plus a raffle raising money for founder Princess Adenrele. Warm Studios started in 2025 as a space for making, workshops and connection, as much a place to talk as to shop. Whether you've been in since day one or never been, you're welcome. Wheelchair accessible, 6pm to 11pm.

My Dinner With Jess Cole & Friends | 📍Myddleton Grange Community Hall, N4 | 4 July | (£)/Pay what you want
The idea is simple: nobody should have to eat alone. Jess Cole runs a travelling community supper that brings strangers to one long table for the evening, and this one lands near Manor House with a two-course Korean meal from Gim, a husband-and-wife kitchen, plus Caribbean mezze and a Nepalese dessert. There's live music and performances through the night, it's pay-what-you-want and BYOB, and what you give goes to Breadline London to keep the meals going. Plant-based throughout. From 6pm, book by emailing [email protected] with your name and any allergies.

Vintage Weekend | 📍Priory Park, N8 | 4 - 5 July | Free
Two days of steam and classic cars in Priory Park, marking the park's hundredth year. Horton's Steam Fair runs across both days, 11am to 8pm, with a carousel, fairground rides and steam engines. On the Saturday only, the Classic Car Pageant brings together over fifty classic vehicles with the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport, 11am to 5pm, and at 5pm the Lotus cars drive out in convoy through Hornsey to the old factory by the station where they were built. Free entry, from 11am both days.

Art + Design Market | 📍Abney Public Hall, N16 | 4 - 5 July | Free
60 independent artists and makers fill Abney Public Hall on Stoke Newington Church Street, selling art prints, zines, ceramics, handmade jewellery and slow fashion, the kind of one-off pieces you won't find on the high street. The makers are there to chat about how they work if you want to ask, and there's pierogi from Pierogi Queen and seasonal teas to keep you going. Accessible, dog friendly, free entry, 11am to 5pm both days.

Ceramics Market & Open Garden | 📍Rochester Square, NW1 | 4 July | Free
Artist Ewelina is leading a communal build at Rochester Square, and what everyone makes becomes a permanent fish pond in the garden. Member artists sell their pots, vases and sculptures, there's free clay workshops and pot painting to join in, and food and drink out in the garden while the kids meet the hens and rabbits. 11am to 5pm.

Bar Rioja Festival | 📍Bar Rioja, N1 | 4 July | (£)
Starts as a wine tasting, ends as a party. Sixteen Riojas to work through in a hidden Victorian courtyard off Pentonville Road, with someone carving Ibérico ham, paella when you need it, and a DJ who runs from mid-afternoon well into the evening.

Jester Festival | 📍Fortune Green, NW6 | 4 July | Free
For 52 years, a handful of volunteers have put on a festival on Fortune Green, and they're still at it. This is the day West Hampstead comes out for its own: live music, a funfair, circus skills and a climbing wall, the raffle with prizes from every shop on the high street, and whatever the volunteers have dreamed up this year. What money it makes goes to the West Hampstead Food Hub, feeding neighbours who need it. Come down between 11.15am and 6.30pm.

Bowes Park Pride | 📍Myddleton Road, N22 | 5 July | Free

Relaxed, family friendly and rooted in the local community. 12pm to 6pm.

Big Fair at Hampstead Festival | 📍Heath Street, NW3 | 5 July | Free

The Cally Festival | 📍Caledonian Road, N1 | 5 July | Free
Once a year, they close Caledonian Road and 7,000 people throw a party in it. Music, performance, art, workshops, street food and a market. 12pm to 6pm.

Jazz and More on the Green | 📍Hadley Green, EN5 | 5 July | (£)
An open air music afternoon on Hadley Green in Barnet, organised by the Hadley Residents' Association. Four bands across the afternoon including the Lazy Rhythm Boys, Lana Shelley, The Truants and Highstone. Bring a picnic, refreshments available on site. Proceeds go towards a management plan for Hadley Green and its ponds. Grounds open 12pm, music 1pm to 6pm.

Ally Pally Allotments Open Day | 📍Ally Pally Allotments, N22 | 5 July | (£)
Wander 140 allotment plots on a south-facing hillside beside Alexandra Park, with views across to central London and, on a clear day, the North Downs. Set up in 1917, the site runs like an urban village: a members' shop, a community polytunnel, beehives kept by North London Beekeepers, and a weekly art group who draw and then put the kettle on. Meet the growers, see how it works, and browse plants, produce and secondhand tools for sale. Home-made teas, dogs and picnics welcome. Adults £5, children free, and it all goes to the National Garden Scheme's charities. 1pm to 4pm.

Love's Labour's Lost | 📍Camden Square, NW1 | 5 July | (£)
Shakespeare in the Squares marks its tenth anniversary with Love's Labour's Lost in Camden Square, a comedy of flirtation, foolishness and falling in love, directed by Toby Gordon. The company stages one Shakespeare play per London garden square each summer, working with local committees to build something tailored to each venue. Their patron is Dame Judi Dench. Gates open from 3.30pm so you can picnic before the play starts at 5pm sharp, with a brief interval and a finish by 7pm.

This session teaches a fold that opens out like a room in a house, then asks you to fill it with what home means to you. Bring nothing, all the materials are there, and the idea is as much about meeting people and swapping stories as the making itself. All ages welcome, with a particular invitation to LGBTQ+ folks aged 16 to 28. 1pm to 4pm.
