Enfield Community Art Exhibition: Connection | 📍Dugdale Arts Centre, EN2 & Devonshire Square, N13 | 30 May - 13 June | Free
A free art exhibition across two Enfield venues, with 69 local artists responding to the theme of Connection. This weekend, 6 and 7 June, it moves outside to Devonshire Square in Palmers Green — pop-up show, live music, art workshops, live drawing, and brownies from Brownie Bar London. The main exhibition at Dugdale Arts Centre runs until 13 June, Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30am to 5.30pm.



Summer Rocks | 📍Wembley Park, HA9 | 30 May - 27 September | Free
All summer, Wembley Park runs a free season of markets, live music and public art in the streets around the stadium. Four bigger days to know about: Pride Week (22 - 28 June), Music Day (26 July), Speaker Box Street Party (29 August) and Wellness Festival (13 September). Ten minutes from Wembley Park station.

Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration | 📍Clerkenwell, EC1 | From 5 June | (£)
Quentin Blake's long-awaited illustration gallery finally opens in a converted 18th century waterworks in Clerkenwell. Three debut exhibitions: Blake's own theatrical work spanning nearly 80 years, a first solo show from British-Sri Lankan illustrator MURUGIAH, and Queer as Comics, tracing queer artists from the 1940s to today. Open Wednesday to Sunday. Tickets £16.50 adult, £6.60 child, covering all three exhibitions.

London Festival of Architecture | 📍Various venues across North London | 1 - 30 June | Free
A month of architecture events across London — talks, guided tours, installations and performances, many in buildings not usually open to the public. North London events in Wood Green, Alexandra Palace, Colindale, Edgware, Fitzrovia and Finchley. On Sunday 7 June, St Mary-at-Finchley (the oldest building in Finchley, Grade II* listed) opens for heritage tours, nature activities and a look at the historic sundial featured on the Antiques Roadshow.

Zoo Nights | 📍London Zoo, NW1 | Every Friday, 5 June - 24 July | (£)
London Zoo opens on Friday evenings for adults only, 6pm to 10pm. Over 8,500 animals, expert talks, street food, cocktail garden and acrobatics as the finale. Note: animals start heading to bed from 8.30pm, so arrive early to make the most of it.

Community Legacy Rug: Shark in the Park | 📍West Green Market, N15 | 6 June | (£)
Our neighbour Lucy Ansa-Addo is a Tottenham-based artist who makes community rugs live at events, with everyone who takes part getting their name on a plaque alongside the finished piece. This one is based on the Nick Sharratt children's book Shark in the Park, with permission from the author himself. The finished rug will be permanently displayed at Harris Primary Academy on Philip Lane. Turn up, tuft your section, leave your mark. No experience needed, pay what you can from £1. Arrive early to secure your turn. 10am to 2pm.

London Open Gardens | 📍Across London | 6 - 7 June | (£)
Once a year, over 100 private gardens across London that are normally locked open to the public for one weekend. Rooftop gardens, hidden green spaces and historic walled gardens, including spaces in Haringey and Islington. One ticket covers the whole weekend and you plan your own route. Guided walks and behind the scenes talks available as add-ons for £5. Under 12s free.

King's Cross Open Art Market | 📍Coal Drops Yard, N1C | 6 - 7 June | Free
Theres weekend art market underneath the Victorian arches of Coal Drops Yard. Local artists and makers selling handmade and limited-edition work, hands-on workshops, and live music. Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 6pm.


Hampstead Garden Suburb Art Fair | 📍Fellowship House, NW11 | 6 - 7 June | Free
A weekend art fair in Golders Green with work from over 20 local artists — paintings, photography, jewellery, sculpture, ceramics, prints, textiles and glass. Free children's art activities on site. Refreshments from WI Finchley, with proceeds to local charities. 11am to 5pm both days.

London Gallery Weekend | 📍Galleries across London | 6 - 8 June | Free 
Free weekend where commercial galleries across London open up for talks, events and exhibitions. Some in North London too like Harlesden High Street gallery, showing Gloria's, a group exhibition that turns the space into a working community café. Five artists exploring Caribbean heritage through abstraction, with ceramics used as actual plates to share food.

Heavy Horse and Country Show | 📍Capel Manor Gardens, EN1 | 7 June | (£)
The annual Heavy Horse Show is a full day of competitions and demonstrations featuring Shire horses and other heavy breeds. The horse programme runs from 10.30am with judged classes, a ridden class, harness displays and a grand parade at 3.15pm. Also a fun dog show, mini zoo, bouncy castle and 30 acres of gardens to explore. Adults £12, children £6, family £35.

Egypt Exploration Society Open Day | 📍Doughty Mews, WC1N | 6 June | Free
The Egypt Exploration Society has been supporting Egyptian archaeology since 1882, and their Bloomsbury mews building is about to be redeveloped. This is the last chance to visit before work begins. Photography exhibition, self-guided tour of the building, craft activities, and a discount second-hand book sale. No booking needed. 10am to 4pm.



Terrific Totteridge: A Guided Walk | 📍Totteridge & Whetstone Station, N20 | 14 June | (£)
Paul Baker, the City of London guide who led our Dickens and Halloween walks, is back with a two-hour tour of Totteridge. One of the wealthiest corners of North London, with grand houses, a village green and more famous past and present residents than you can count. Meet outside Totteridge & Whetstone tube station at 2.30pm.

Palmers Green Summer Market | 📍Devonshire Square, N13 | 13 June | Free
Free community market on the green in Palmers Green, run by Palmers Green Action Team. Local makers, artists, gifts and fresh produce, with live music from The Hummingbirds, Chiara Sicuro, Lost Chimes and Narnia. 11am to 4pm.

No Car Boot Sale | 📍West Green Primary School, N15 | 14 June | Free Tottenham's car boot is back. Fifty sellers with vintage, clothing, records, furniture and toys. Coffee from Techo Verde, treats from Be More Shirley, bacon butties from Rose Cafe and ice cream from Licks Real Fruit. From 9.30am.

Crouch End Festival | 📍Hornsey Town Hall and across N8 | 12 - 18 June | Free
Crouch End Festival is a week of community arts events across N8, run by volunteers, funded entirely by local businesses and free to attend. Now in its 15th year. Saturday 13 June is the main day at Hornsey Town Hall with live music from 11am to 11pm, a craft market, food stalls and Poets in a Phone Box on the green. Sunday moves to Priory Park for a family day and an evening of bands including Croc of Bones and Interfunk. Wednesday 17 June is a night of music at Holy Innocents with Kate Short and the London Balkan Orkestar. Events all week across Crouch End and Hornsey.

London Concours | 📍Honourable Artillery Company, EC1Y | 9 - 11 June | (£)
Eighty rare and beautiful cars in the walled gardens of the Honourable Artillery Company, a hidden green space tucked behind City Road that most Londoners don't even know exists. Food, drinks and a few luxury stalls on the lawns. Tuesday and Wednesday 11am to 8pm, Thursday 11am to 7.30pm.

Fair in the Square | 📍Pond Square, Highgate, N6 | 13 June | Free
Pond Square in Highgate is one of London's few genuine village squares, and every June it hosts a free community fair. Over 100 stalls from local schools, charities and businesses, live entertainment, street food, stilt walkers, church tower tours and a dog show. New this year is a raffle with prizes from local pubs and restaurants. Run by volunteers. 12.30pm to 5.30pm.

Highgate Festival 2026 | 📍Highgate, N6 | 13 - 21 June | Free/(£)
Highgate Festival is a nine-day neighbourhood festival that uses the whole village as its venue, from pubs and parks to churches and community halls. This year's programme is built around the 10th anniversary of George Michael's death, with a community sing-along in Pond Square on 20 June. Other highlights include a BAFTA-winning composer's listening party at an immersive sound space, a performance about the Lost Girls of Highgate Cemetery, a plague pit walk, Fair in the Square on 13 June and talks from Will Hutton and Nell Frizzell. Live music at the Boogaloo and Red Hedgehog throughout.

Clissold Park FEASTival | 📍Clissold Park, N16 | 12 - 14 June | Free
Free street food festival in Clissold Park across the second weekend of June. Street food, bars, live music, children's rides and a land train. Andy White plays Friday, Limelight Band on Saturday, Ian Fox on Sunday. Enter via the Green Lanes Fink's Pump House entrance. Friday 10am to 7pm, Saturday 9am to 7pm, Sunday 10am to 6pm.

Drumsheds Spring Flea | 📍Drumsheds, N18 | 14 June | (£)
Drumsheds is the former Tottenham IKEA warehouse, and on Sunday its car park fills with over 200 vintage and preloved traders. Furniture, jewellery, homeware, bric-a-brac and unexpected oddities sourced from across the UK and Europe. Traders deliver larger items. £2 entry, under 16s free. Dogs welcome. 10am to 5pm.


Clissold Park FEASTival | 📍Clissold Park, N16 | 12 - 14 June | Free
Free street food festival in Clissold Park across the second weekend of June. Street food, bars, live music, children's rides and a land train. World Naked Bike Ride | 📍Various routes across London | 14 June | Free
Once a year, hundreds of cyclists ride through central London wearing as little as they please, a joyful, peaceful protest against car culture and oil dependency that's been a London fixture since 2004. "Be as bare as you dare" is the dress code. Routes start across London including Regent's Park. Free to take part, just turn up at a start point with your bike.

British Library Food Season Big Weekend | 📍British Library, NW1 | 13 - 14 June | (£)
The British Library's annual Food Season opens with a two-day programme of talks and debates. Sixteen sessions across Saturday and Sunday: Palestinian food and memory, the legacy of Edna Lewis, women redefining BBQ, Ruthie Rogers on the River Café, curry across cultures, food writers turned novelists. Sessions are individually priced with a multi-session discount available.







Flamenco Festival | 📍Sadler's Wells, EC1R | 16 - 29 June | (£)
Two weeks of flamenco at Sadler's Wells. Guitar, stomping footwork and a lot of emotion.

Taste of London | 📍Regent's Park, NW1 | 17 to 21 Jun | (£)
Taste of London takes over Regent's Park every June and it's exactly what it sounds like: over 30 of the city's best restaurants set up in one place so you can eat across all of them in an afternoon. This year new additions include Harry's, Hakkasan and Mexican spot Ixchel, alongside festival favourites Roti King and Los Mochis. Chef demos and masterclasses are included in the ticket price, with Big Zuu and Melissa Thompson hosting the Fire Pit stage. Five days, 130 dishes, 160 artisan producers.

Kilburn Grange Park Funfair | 📍Kilburn Grange Park, NW6 | 19 - 28 June | (£)
A funfair in Kilburn Grange Park over two weekends. Rides for all ages, £2 entry. Both Fridays are half price, and booking tokens online before noon saves 20% on other days. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only, 10am to 5pm.


Closet Sale: Mikai McDermott + Danielle Jinadu | 📍Clerkenwell Close, EC1R | 19 June | Free
Two London fashion creatives selling from their own wardrobes for one day. Mikai McDermott (MAC collaborator, womenswear designer) and Danielle Jinadu (stylist, known for her sharp minimal style) are clearing out designer, vintage and everyday pieces. Register for a ticket in advance.

Red Bull Soapbox Race | 📍Alexandra Palace, N22 | 20 June | (£)
Teams build their own homemade carts and race them down the hill at Alexandra Palace using nothing but gravity. No engines, no fuel. 60 teams judged on speed, creativity and showmanship, with costumes, stunts and general chaos along the way. Doors open 11.30am, racing starts around 2pm. Tickets from £23.50, no tickets on the door so buy in advance.

Cocoa Kids Fest: Vibin' for Windrush | 📍Bernie Grant Arts Centre, N15 | 20 June | (£)
There's a children's music festival at Bernie Grant Arts Centre celebrating Caribbean culture and the Windrush generation. Live performances, dancing and a food market from Black Eats LDN. Headline performer is Princess Thomas, a 12-year-old dancer from Leicester who has been performing since the age of three.

Hackney Flea Market | 📍Abney Public Hall, N16 | 20 - 21 June | Free
The kind of market where you don't know what you're looking for until you find it. Forty traders on Church Street in Stoke Newington with furniture, records, salvaged French homeware, Danish decor, textiles and kitchenalia. Dog friendly. 10am to 5pm both days.

London Gaming Market | 📍Royal National Hotel, WC1H | 21 June | (£)
The gaming market is back in its 11th year. London's only dedicated retro market, with hundreds of dealers selling vintage games, consoles, merchandise and artwork.

East Finchley Festival | 📍Cherry Tree Wood, N2 | 21 June | Free
East Finchley Festival has been going since 1972, when locals marked the first one by parading a whole roast sheep down the High Road to Cherry Tree Wood. It's a free all-day community festival in the park and it's still going strong. Two music stages, street food, licensed bars, over 100 local makers, sports, laser tag, storytelling and Lego. 12pm to 6pm.



Windrush Homecoming Celebration | 📍Talacre Gardens, NW5 | 20 June | Free
Camden's annual celebration of the Windrush generation and Caribbean heritage returns to Talacre Gardens in Kentish Town. Live music and DJ sets, Caribbean food and drink, arts and crafts, sports activities for kids and community stalls. No tickets needed, just turn up. 12pm to 6pm.


Hampstead Summer Festival 2026 | 📍Keats House and Heath Street, NW3 | 21 June - 5 July | Free/(£)
Keats House in Hampstead is where the Romantic poet John Keats lived and wrote in the 1820s. It's now a museum, and every summer its garden becomes the setting for a community festival that has been running since 2011. This year there are five events: an Art Fair on 21 June, open air performances of Northanger Abbey from 25 June, a Family Garden Party on 28 June with birds of prey, ballet and a magician, and the Big Fair on Heath Street on 5 July with 110 stalls, a funfair and live music. Art Street in Keats Grove runs throughout. Theatre tickets from £20, everything else free. All proceeds to Hampstead School of Art and Keats Community Library.



Ceramicists' Mart | 📍Abney Hall, N16 | 27 - 28 June | Free
Over 60 ceramic artists and potters on Stoke Newington Church Street. Handmade bowls, mugs, platters, plant pots, jewellery and sculpture. Worth taking your time over and chatting to the makers. Pierogi from Pierogi Queen and seasonal teas from Quarter Cup Tea Co on site. 11am to 5pm both days.

Everywhere at Once Festival | 📍Various North London venues | 26 - 28 June | (£)
A national weekend festival celebrating grassroots music venues — the small stages where artists actually start out. Hundreds of shows across the UK happening simultaneously, with North London events in Camden, Islington, Haringey and more. Acts include Snail Mail, Avery Sunshine and Quartet Concrète.

GROW Farm Open Day | 📍GROW Farm, N20 | 27 June | (£)
GROW is a community farm in Barnet that teaches agroecology. Farm tours, pick-your-own flowers, fresh produce, food, music and kids activities. Money spent supports the charity. Solidarity pricing and free tickets available for those who need them. 10am to 3pm.

Kite Festival at Parliament Hill | 📍Parliament Hill Fields, NW5 | 28 June | Free
The Kite Society of Great Britain fills the sky above Kite Hill on Hampstead Heath for an afternoon. Kite making and children's activities from Well Walk Theatre, Mini Mozart and Sally's Adventure Club. Noon to 4pm.
